Weekly Agenda for Toddlers (Playing Church)
30 Minutes of Fun and Learning- This is to prepare the child for Sabbath School. Each day a new agenda will appear. Use the Program Music for all of these songs. This will allow the children to practice these songs for Sabbath School. We have some exciting sensory activities for our upcoming Sabbath School for our Beginners!
Peace, Be Still
Monday
Singing (Up & dancing around, clapping, happy movements!)

Playing (Guided)
Stormy Sea Freeze Dance
Objective: Help toddlers understand the sudden calm Jesus brought to the storm.

How to Play:
Play music with "storm" sound effects (e.g., drums, wind).
Toddlers dance and shake blue scarves like waves.
Pause the music and shout, “Jesus said, ‘Peace! Be still!’”
Children freeze in place (still like the sea).
Supplies: Music player, scarves or blue fabric.
Lesson: Jesus can calm our hearts when we’re scared.
Even when life feels noisy and wild like a storm, Jesus is always with us and can give us peace. When we hear “Be still,” we remember that Jesus is bigger than any storm.

Playing
Boat Ride Balance
Objective: Imitate the rocking boat and Jesus bringing calm.

How to Play:
Create “boats” with large cardboard boxes or laundry baskets.
Toddlers sit inside, and an adult gently rocks the “boat.”
While rocking, say, “The storm is coming!”
Then say, “Jesus said, ‘Be still!’” and stop the rocking.
Supplies: Cardboard boxes/laundry baskets, blankets for safety.
Lesson: Jesus is always in the boat with us.
No matter how wobbly life gets, Jesus is right there, just like He was with the disciples. We don’t have to be afraid—He’s in control.

Playing
Wind and Waves Obstacle Course
Objective: Experience the chaos of the storm, then the calm.

How to Play:
Set up an obstacle course (pillows to step over, tunnels to crawl through).
Narrate: “The wind blew! The waves crashed!”
At the end, they reach a picture of Jesus and hear: “Jesus said, ‘Be still,’ and the storm stopped.”
Supplies: Soft play materials, image of Jesus calming the storm.
Lesson: Jesus helps us through hard times.
Sometimes life is tricky—like crawling and climbing—but Jesus helps us through. Just like the disciples made it to safety, we can trust Jesus to help us too.

Objective: Match emotions and scenes to parts of the story.

How to Play:
Print simple 2-piece puzzles (e.g., stormy sea + scared face, calm sea + happy face).
Toddlers match the pieces.
Talk about how Jesus helped the disciples feel calm.
Supplies: Printable puzzles (can create with simple drawings or clipart).
Lesson: Jesus cares when we’re afraid.
The disciples were scared, and Jesus didn’t get mad—He helped them. Jesus cares about our feelings and wants to help us feel safe.

Float the Boat (Water Table Game)
Objective: Explore boats and calm water.

How to Play:
Provide small toy boats in a water table or basin.
Let kids make waves by gently splashing.
Say, “Jesus said, ‘Be still!’” and they stop splashing to watch the water calm.
Supplies: Water table or basin, toy boats.
Lesson: Jesus brings peace.
When the water is wild, it feels scary—but when it’s calm, it feels safe. Jesus brings peace like that to our hearts and our homes.
