Parallel Verse: Hebrews 11:23 (NIV)
"By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict."
Why it's a parallel:
Both verses describe Moses’ birth and how his parents hid him.
Hebrews 11:23 adds that they acted “by faith”, trusting God even when the king’s command (Pharaoh's edict) was dangerous.
It highlights their courage and belief that Moses was special, just like Exodus 2:2 does.
