Weekly Agenda for Toddlers (Playing Church)

30 Minutes of Fun and Learning- This is to prepare the child for Sabbath School. Each day a new agenda will appear. Use the Program Music for all of these songs. This will allow the children to practice these songs for Sabbath School. We have some exciting sensory activities for our upcoming Sabbath School for our Beginners! 

A Little Boy's Lunch

Monday

Singing (Up & dancing around, clapping, happy movements!)

Playing (Guided)

Loaves and Fishes Toss

Theme: Sharing the blessings!

How to Play:

  • Place a basket or laundry hamper in the middle of the room.

  • Give each child soft play food (pretend loaves and fish) or beanbags (socks filled with rice).

  • The kids take turns tossing the loaves and fishes into the basket, trying to "share" them with the crowd like Jesus did.

Little Lesson:
"Jesus shares good things with everyone — we can share too!"

Tuesday

Playing

Feed the Crowd Relay

Theme: Helping others like Jesus!

How to Play:

  • Line up toy people, dolls, or stuffed animals (the "crowd") at one end of the room.

  • At the other end, have baskets with play food or paper fish and loaves.

  • Toddlers run (or toddle!) to pick up food and bring it back to "feed" the crowd.

Little Lesson:
"Even small hands can help a lot!"

Wednesday

Playing

Gather the Blessings

Theme: God's blessings are soft, sweet, and all around us!

How to Play:

  • Scatter cotton balls all over the room — they are the "blessings" (like the loaves and fishes Jesus shared).

  • Give each toddler a small basket, cup, or bowl.

  • Play soft music. When the music starts, kids crawl, walk, or toddle around picking up as many "blessings" (cotton balls) as they can and putting them in their basket.

  • When the music stops, everyone counts (or just looks at!) how much they gathered.

Little Lesson:
"Jesus gives us blessings every day — let’s gather them with joy!"

Count the Loaves Game

Theme: God multiplies what we give.

How to Play:

  • Cut out or print paper loaves and fish.

  • Hide them around the room like a treasure hunt.

  • Toddlers find them, and then everyone counts together to see how many were found — just like the leftovers that filled 12 baskets!

Little Lesson:
"God can make even a little bit into a LOT!"

Playing

Pass the Basket

Theme: Community and gratitude.

How to Play:

  • Sit in a circle. Pass around a small basket while music plays (like "Jesus Loves Me").

  • When the music stops, whoever is holding the basket pulls out a picture of a loaf, fish, or a heart and says one thing they are thankful for.

Little Lesson:
"Jesus cared for everyone — and we can say thank you for His love!"

BYAQ2: Miracles by the Sea

This program explores the seven days of creation. The children will:

  • Know that Jesus cares for them.
  • Feel happy that Jesus is their special caring Friend.
  • Respond by thanking God for the things He made.
