Weekly Agenda for Toddlers (Playing Church)
30 Minutes of Fun and Learning- This is to prepare the child for Sabbath School. Each day a new agenda will appear. Use the Program Music for all of these songs. This will allow the children to practice these songs for Sabbath School. We have some exciting sensory activities for our upcoming Sabbath School for our Beginners!
Walking on Water
Monday
Singing (Up & dancing around, clapping, happy movements!)

Playing (Guided)
“Jesus Calms the Storm” Parachute Game
Theme: Jesus has power over the wind and waves
What You Need: Parachute (or large sheet), blue streamers or fabric strips
How to Play:
Children hold the edges of the parachute and gently shake it like "stormy waves."
An adult says, “The wind is blowing! The waves are splashing!”
Then the adult says, “Jesus said, ‘Peace, be still!’” and all children stop and hold the parachute still.
Lesson: Jesus can calm our storms. We can trust Him when we’re scared.

Playing
“Walk on Water” Mat Adventure
Theme: Keeping our eyes on Jesus
What You Need: Blue towels or mats, cutouts of feet, picture of Jesus
How to Play:
Lay down the mats to look like water. Place the cutouts in a path.
Kids take turns walking on the “water” to get to the picture of Jesus.
If they "slip" off the path, say, “Jesus catches you!”
Lesson: When we keep our eyes on Jesus, He helps us walk through hard things.

Playing
“Stormy Boat” Rocking Game
Theme: Jesus is with us in every storm
What You Need: Laundry basket, cardboard box, or tape to make a “boat” on the floor
How to Play:
Toddlers sit in the “boat.”
Use a fan or wave fabric to make a storm.
Tell the story: “Jesus was sleeping, the storm came, but Jesus said, ‘Be still!’”
End by calming everything and saying, “Jesus makes us feel safe.”
Lesson: Jesus is in the boat with us. We don’t have to be afraid.

“Follow Jesus” Walking Game
Theme: Follow Jesus even when it's hard
What You Need: A leader (adult or older child), fun music
How to Play:
Children follow the leader as they walk, hop, tiptoe, or crawl like they’re on water.
Occasionally, the leader pretends to “sink,” and everyone says, “Jesus, help me!” and then “Jesus catches you!”
Lesson: When we follow Jesus, He helps us—even when we stumble.

Playing
“Wind and Waves” Scarf Toss
Theme: Jesus has power over nature
What You Need: Scarves or tissue paper, a fan or your own breath
How to Play:
Children wave scarves like the wind and toss them in the air.
Say, “It’s windy! The waves are big!”
Then everyone says, “Jesus says, ‘Peace, be still!’” and gently drop the scarves.
Lesson: Jesus tells even the wind what to do. He is powerful and loving.
