Jesus Helps at a Wedding
(Based on John 2:1–11)#
One day, Jesus went to a wedding.
There was music, dancing, and lots of happy people.
Jesus’ mommy, Mary, was there too.
She smiled and said, “Jesus, the people need help. They have no more wine to drink!”
Jesus listened to His mommy.
He saw six big jars standing nearby.
Jesus said, “Fill the jars with water.”
So the helpers filled them up — splash, splash, splash!
Then something amazing happened.
The water was not water anymore!
The water had turned into wine!
The best wine anyone had ever tasted.
The people were so happy.
Jesus had helped them!
It was Jesus’ first miracle.
And it showed how kind and powerful He is.
Jesus helps. Jesus listens. Jesus does amazing things!
