Jesus Brings Life and Healing
(Based on Luke 8:40–56)
One day, Jesus came back to town.
The people were so happy to see Him!
They crowded all around Him!
A man named Jairus came running.
He was very, very sad.
“My little girl is very sick,” he cried.
“Please, Jesus, come help her!”
Jesus said, “I will come.”
On the way to Jairus’s house,
a woman reached out to Jesus.
She had been sick for a long, long time.
She believed Jesus could make her well.
She touched the edge of His clothes—
just a tiny touch!
Right away—POOF!—she was all better!
Jesus smiled and said,
“Your faith has made you well.”
Then someone came and said,
“Jairus... your little girl is gone.”
Oh no! Everyone was so sad.
But Jesus said,
“Do not be afraid. Just believe.”
When they got to the house,
Jesus went to the little girl.
He held her hand and said,
“Little girl, get up!”
And guess what?
She opened her eyes…
She stood up!
She was all better!
Everyone was amazed and happy.
Jesus brings healing.
Jesus brings life.
He loves us so much!
